A free timetable planner for Notre Dame University-Louaize students, built by one of them.

The name stands for Online Registration and Enrollment System for Students.

Why ORESS exists

Registration at NDU meant course codes scribbled on paper, pages refreshed over and over, and every time slot checked by hand. One semester I missed a course I needed because of a clash I did not catch.

I am a developer, so I built the tool I wanted: one screen where you search the offerings, see your week as a grid and are told about a clash the moment it happens. Then I opened it to every NDU student.

    Planning a semester by hand is slow, and a clash is easy to miss until registration day.

  2. The idea

    Put the whole week on one grid and let the computer do the checking.

  3. ORESS

    A planner that reads the offerings NDU publishes, for every campus, free.
